Description

The 6×40 mm hammer-in anchor is a quick-fix fastener comprising a nylon body and a steel screw, designed for fixing starter profiles, rails and flashings in external thermal insulation systems. It is supplied in boxes of 50. Its reinforced flat flange ensures the screw head sits firmly against the profile, providing a quick and reliable fix to most building materials.

The 6×40 mm hammer-in anchor, item number 152.640, is a fixing comprising a nylon expansion plug and a steel screw, widely used in external thermal insulation systems for fixing starter profiles, rails and drip flashings. Its reinforced flat flange provides a good bearing surface for the screw head, ensuring reliable and long-lasting retention of the fixed components, regardless of the type of masonry substrate encountered: concrete, brick, stone or aerated concrete. Installation, carried out simply by hammering it into place, requires no complex tools, enabling site teams to quickly fit long runs of starter rails or coping profiles. This anchor is an essential preliminary step before installing insulation panels, as it secures the starter profile which will guide the alignment of the first row of panels along the entire length of the façade.
