Corner profiles, or fabric-reinforced corner beads, reinforce and protect the edges of external thermal insulation: façade corners, window and door reveals, and edging. Made from alkali-resistant PVC with an integrated fibreglass mesh, they prevent cracking and ensure clean, straight corners. Available at trade prices from Centrale ITE, for both private individuals and professionals.

The 10×23 PVC external thermal insulation corner bead is an alkali-resistant, pre-fabricated PVC profile designed to reinforce and protect external corners in external thermal insulation systems. Sold in 2.5 m lengths, it incorporates a fibreglass mesh for secure anchoring in the render.
Easy to install in fresh undercoat render, it ensures a clean finish to corners whilst preventing the formation of cracks and mechanical damage.
The TOP 180° expansion joint profile is a fabric-reinforced PVC profile designed for use in expansion joints on flat surfaces in external thermal insulation systems. Sold in 2.5-metre lengths, it accommodates relative movement between two sections of the façade.
Featuring a glass-fibre mesh, it ensures a watertight joint between surfaces whilst preventing cracks from forming at the joint.
An ITE corner profile is a PVC angle profile fitted with a fibreglass mesh strip on each side. It is embedded in the base coat, along all the protruding edges of the façade. This is the most exposed part of an external thermal insulation system (ETIS): impacts, ladders, bicycles and thermal expansion all concentrate here. Without reinforcement, the render will flake and crack here first. The PVC corner bead from Centrale ITE (ref. 121.230, length 2.5 m) fulfils three functions:
The corner bead is fitted into the still-fresh base coat, before the main framework is installed, on the edge of the insulation board.
