Fixing an insulation panel to a façade involves more than just bonding: additional mechanical fixing, using wall plugs, absorbs the wind-induced negative pressure loads throughout the system’s service life. Hammer-in anchors with metal nails, helical anchors and fixing rosettes meet the requirements of an external thermal insulation (ETI) project, from concrete substrates to hollow masonry, in both new-build and energy-efficient refurbishment projects.

The 6×40 mm hammer-in anchor is a quick-fix fastener comprising a nylon body and a steel screw, designed for fixing starter profiles, rails and flashings in external thermal insulation systems. It is supplied in boxes of 50.
Its reinforced flat flange ensures the screw head sits firmly against the profile, providing a quick and reliable fix to most building materials.
The LFM 10 anchor, 140 mm in length, is a mechanical hammer-in fastener, comprising a polyethylene body and a galvanised steel nail, designed for the supplementary fixing of insulation boards in external wall insulation systems. It is certified under European Technical Assessment ETA-17/0450.
Packaged in boxes of 200 pieces by the manufacturer Klimas France, it is suitable for insulation thicknesses of up to approximately 60 mm on new substrates, and helps to counteract wind suction forces on the insulated façade.
The LFM 10 anchor, 160 mm long, is a mechanical hammer-in fastener, comprising a polyethylene body and a galvanised steel nail, designed for the supplementary fixing of insulation boards in external wall insulation systems. It is certified under European Technical Assessment ETA-17/0450.
Packaged in boxes of 200 pieces by the manufacturer Klimas France, it is suitable for insulation thicknesses of up to approximately 80 mm on new substrates, and helps to counteract wind suction forces on the insulated façade.
The LFM 10 anchor, 180 mm in length, is a mechanical hammer-in fastener, comprising a polyethylene body and a galvanised steel nail, designed for the supplementary fixing of insulation boards in external wall insulation systems. It is certified under European Technical Assessment ETA-17/0450.
Packaged in boxes of 200 pieces by the manufacturer Klimas France, it is suitable for insulation thicknesses of up to approximately 100 mm on new substrates, and helps to counteract wind suction forces on the insulated façade.

Packaged in cartons of 200 pieces by the manufacturer Klimas France, it is suitable for insulation thicknesses of up to approximately 120 mm on new substrates, and helps to counteract wind suction forces on the insulated façade.
The LFM 10 anchor, 220 mm in length, is a mechanical hammer-in fastener, comprising a polyethylene body and a galvanised steel nail, designed for the supplementary fixing of insulation boards in external wall insulation systems. It is certified under European Technical Assessment ETA-17/0450.
Packaged in boxes of 100 pieces by the manufacturer Klimas France, it is suitable for insulation thicknesses of up to approximately 140 mm on new substrates, and helps to counteract wind suction forces on the insulated façade.
The LFM 10 anchor, 260 mm in length, is a mechanical drive-in fastener, comprising a polyethylene body and a galvanised steel nail, designed for the supplementary fixing of insulation boards in external wall insulation systems. It is certified under European Technical Assessment ETA-17/0450.
Packaged in boxes of 100 pieces by the manufacturer Klimas France, it is suitable for insulation thicknesses of up to approximately 180 mm on new substrates, and helps to counteract wind suction forces on the insulated façade.
The LMX8 anchor, 95 mm in length, is an 8 mm diameter mechanical hammer-in fastener, fitted with a metal nail, designed for the supplementary fixing of thin insulation boards in external wall insulation (EWI) systems.
Packaged in cartons of 200 pieces, it offers a smaller-diameter alternative to the LFM 10 range, suitable for applications where minimal drilling into the substrate is required.
The SPIRAL helical anchor is a fixing designed to be screwed directly into the rigid insulation of external thermal insulation systems (ETIS), without the need for pre-drilling. Its 85 mm length allows it to secure lightweight items such as letterboxes, outdoor lighting or house numbers.
Its spiral design ensures a secure hold in the insulation whilst minimising the thermal bridge created by the fixing, providing a quick and cost-effective solution for low-load accessories on façades.
The TD-60 PVC rosette is a fixing accessory designed to be used in conjunction with a timber screw to secure insulation boards to a timber frame in external thermal insulation systems. With a diameter of 60 mm, it distributes the clamping force across the insulation.
Fitted with a fold-down cover to protect the screw head, it is supplied in packs of 100, making it convenient for quickly fitting a timber-framed façade.
Hammer-in anchors consist of a plastic body and a metal nail that is driven in with a hammer once the anchor has been inserted into a hole drilled perpendicular to the substrate. Designed to withstand wind suction loads – but never the dead weight of the insulation system itself – they can be installed on ordinary concrete, solid, hollow or perforated masonry, lightweight aggregate concrete or autoclaved aerated concrete, depending on the category of substrate covered by their technical assessment. Two installation methods are possible: for surface mounting, the flange sits flush with the render; for recessed mounting, a recess milled into the insulation houses the flange beneath an insulation plug for a flush finish, thereby preventing any hotspots or visible marks once the façade has been painted. The length to be selected depends directly on the thickness of the insulation installed and the required anchoring depth in the substrate: the thicker the insulation, the longer the anchor must be, with ranges covering standard thicknesses up to several tens of centimetres. The number of wall plugs per panel – generally between 3 and 9, depending on the site’s wind exposure and the height of the building – is determined by the fixing plan for the chosen ETICS system, without ever falling below the specified minimums or placing the anchors closer than 150 mm from the edge of the panels. A stock of various lengths allows for coverage of edges, corners and standard areas within the same building site.
For building sites seeking a quicker, dust-free installation, a helical anchor is screwed directly into the substrate through the insulation, without first drilling a hole for the anchor body: its helical thread grips the substrate as it is screwed in, reducing installation time and minimising drilling dust, which is a real benefit on busy or renovation sites. A PVC fixing rosette with an integrated cover conceals the heads of the timber screws used when fitting accessories or additional framing to the insulated façade, ensuring a clean finish with no visible screws and preventing water ingress behind the fixed accessory. These solutions usefully complement the stock of hammer-in anchors for specific points and finishing touches on an external thermal insulation (ITE) project, whether for discreetly fixing a service box, a ventilation grille or a rainwater downpipe bracket.
