Description

The TD-60 PVC rosette is a fixing accessory designed to be used in conjunction with a timber screw to secure insulation boards to a timber frame in external thermal insulation systems. With a diameter of 60 mm, it distributes the clamping force across the insulation. Fitted with a fold-down cover to protect the screw head, it is supplied in packs of 100, making it convenient for quickly fitting a timber-framed façade.

The TD-60 PVC rosette is a fixing accessory used in conjunction with a timber screw to secure insulation boards to wooden or wood-based substrates as part of external thermal insulation systems. Its 60 mm diameter ensures that the clamping force is distributed over a sufficient area of the insulation. This load distribution minimises the risk of the rosette punching through or sinking too deeply into the insulation, which is crucial for preserving the integrity and thermal performance of the installed panel. Fitted with a flip-up cover, the TD-60 rosette protects the screw head once the panel is secured, thereby limiting both water ingress at the fixing point and localised heat loss associated with the metal screw. It is simple to install: drill through the insulation and the substrate, position the rosette, then screw through it until the panel is securely held in place without excessive compression. Packaged in bags of 100, this screw cap is designed for façade contractors and timber builders carrying out external thermal insulation projects on timber frames, in both new-build and energy-efficient renovation projects.
