The FKL Kardigan fire barrier strip, 180 mm thick, is an ACERMI-certified rock wool fire barrier designed for external thermal insulation systems (ETIS). Measuring 1200 x 200 mm, it is integrated into the façade to limit the spread of fire through the insulated wall.

Non-combustible and compatible with the main rendered EWI systems, this strip meets the regulatory fire safety requirements applicable to buildings open to the public and to multi-occupancy dwellings.

Packaged in sheets measuring 1200 x 400 mm, it is easy to handle and cut on site, ensuring a neat finish to window reveals before the application of the façade render.
