Description

The black ISO 0/8 shutter stop is a hardware fitting designed to provide a stop for hinged shutters on a facade with external insulation, for insulation thicknesses of up to 80 mm. Its extra-long shaft allows the stop to be positioned beyond the insulation layer. Supplied with an anchor plug and an adjustable stop, it can be quickly fitted to standard building substrates, ensuring the shutter stops reliably against the finished façade.

The black ISO 0/8 shutter stop is a hardware fitting designed to ensure that swing shutters come to a stop against façades fitted with external thermal insulation (ETI). Its main function is to move the shutter’s locking point beyond the insulation layer, to ensure the shutter panel is held correctly against the façade once it has been rendered and finished. This model is designed for insulation thicknesses of 0 to 80 mm, which corresponds to the most common EWI configurations in light to moderate energy-efficiency refurbishment projects. Its extra-long rod, combined with the supplied anchor plug, ensures a reliable fix in standard masonry substrates. The adjustable stop fitted to this shutter stop can be installed either before or after the rod is fitted, allowing for great flexibility in on-site adjustment depending on the actual thickness of the insulation and installation tolerances.
