Description

The Ø100 mm, 2-metre-long galvanised steel pipe with a tulip-shaped socket is designed for use in rainwater drainage systems and zinc work installations. Made from 0.65 mm thick galvanised steel, it offers excellent mechanical strength and good protection against corrosion. Its tulip-shaped end facilitates quick assembly of the components whilst ensuring precise alignment of the pipes.

Compatible with 100 mm diameter zinc-plated fittings, it provides a reliable solution for both new builds and renovation projects.

In my view, galvanised pipe remains the most durable solution for an exposed rainwater downpipe, despite being heavier than PVC pipe. The flared end makes it easier to connect and minimises potential leak points.
